Ashis is a cum laude graduate of Louisiana State University, Baton Rogue, LA where he received his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Psychology. He completed his Master of Physical Therapy, graduating with high honors, at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences, St. Augustine, FL.

Ashis continued on at the University of St. Augustine to complete his Doctorate in Physical Therapy receiving the coveted Manual Therapy Certification (MTC). Certification included extensive study and research on pelvis, hip, lumbar and spine conditions regarding evaluation and manipulation treatments.

Before joining OASIS, Ashis was Director and Senior Physical Therapist at Physical Therapy of Corinth, Tx. Before that, he spent several years as a staff physical therapist at Coppell Spine and Sports Rehab. Since 2001, he has been an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association in the Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Physical Therapy sections.

Ashis enjoys college football, especially cheering on his alma mater, the LSU Tigers.
